Wows is designed to look like an old Western saloon except with a lot more glitter. Inside you'll find drag shows, karaoke, pool tables and a whole lot of camp fun.
It's the most recent addition to the cluster of queer venues on Smith Street. The entrance is next to Yah Yahs and it's open 3 nights a week.
The venue is the brainchild of Nicholas Jones, owner of neighbouring Yah Yahs. “It’s going to be camp” Nicholas told Beat magazine before its opening. “I wanted to do something that was silly and fun”.
