Attracting a mostly-straight crowd during the week, the venue rebrands as Fluffy on Sunday nights for arguably Brisbane’s best gay night out. Fluffy is well-run and features high-quality entertainment including dancers and drag shows. Cloudland owns the Sunday gay set, starting the day with their weekly drag brunch “Brunch with Bite” and then transitioning to Fluffy in the evening. Expect a cover-charge for such a classy venue and also keep in mind they have a dress code requiring button-up shirts and dress shoes. However, the jury is still out on how much they enforce this on Fluffy nights. For a raucous party, go to Fluffy on a long weekend when Monday is a public holiday - the party rages until the wee hours and there is normally a theme for the night that people dress up (or undress).
