Queer Film Festival

The Brisbane Queer Film Festival takes place in May and features a two week lineup of queer cinema and short films. Since 2014, films have been shown at the heritage-listed New Farm Cinema, formerly the Village Twin which has special significance to the queer community as it was formerly a gay beat in the 70s and 80s.
