With pride season in full swing, we check out 6 Midsumma Pride March after-parties to take in all of the post-parade buzz

We’re smack-bang in the middle of gay Christmas so make sure you don’t miss any of the queer yuletide festivities by checking out these Pride March after parties.

Poof doof are back with their annual Pride March after-party at the St Kilda Sports Club. Catch DJs, drag and entertainment as well as food trucks for post-pride street eats. Plus, check out the Club Tinder clubhouse side room and you can even play a game of lawn bowls. This is a free event.
St Kilda Sports Club, 660 Fitzroy St, Free, 11am-9pm
Where Love Lives have got you covered with 2 Pride March parties at the Prince Hotel. Catch all the glitter and sparkle of the Pride March with a viewing party on the Prince Deck overlooking Fitzroy street with DJs and a performance by Zoë Badwi. The night party takes over the Prince Bandroom from 5pm and features DJ Nicky Siano (NYC).

The Esplanade Hotel will be transformed into a rainbow wonderland for the triumphant return of the annual Pride March after-party. Catch DJs Jason Conti, Gavin Campbell¸ Jake Judd, Paris and many more plus a special staircase performance of the Sunshine Disco Faith Choir. Honcho Disko are taking over the Gershwin room from 4pm-11pm with their avant garde brand of drag and entertainment including a special guest performance from disco legend DJ Severino – direct from The Eagle in London.

Check out some of the best views in Melbourne and catch all the post-parade buzz at the Victorian Pride Centre’s Sunday Sizzle. DJ David Virgona will be spinning a mix of classic queer anthems and latest hits. Plus you can get your drink on at the newly installed rooftop bar or grab a bite to eat at the sausage sizzle with proceeds going to Koorie Pride. This is a free event but capacity is limited so if you plan to go, get in early.

Last, but not least, you can attach yourself to the end of the Pride March and follow it all the way to Catani Gardens for the annual post-parade party. The main stage will feature performances and entertainment from 11am to 4pm and food trucks and bars will have all sorts of treats on offer.

Mollie’s is open from 3pm for post-parade shenanigans. Drag Roulette kicks off at the special time of 7pm with Tequila Mockingbird. Sircuit opens from 9pm with shows into the night starring HOTPINK, the KM United Dance Crew, special guest Tongan Cheek, plus DJ Argonaut on the decks.
