Soda Rock Diner
Soda Rock Diner is a 1950's American-themed restaurant on Chapel Street.
This restaurant has been serving up milkshakes, hamburgers and hot dogs for nearly 30 years. It's located just outside the Jam Factory in South Yarra. It's the perfect place to go if you have a hankering for some classic Americana and pop culture. It has rollerskating waiters and waitresses, pin ball machines and a jukebox at every table. You can even get a picture with Elvis before you leave.
The Soda Rock Diner was originally opened as Johnny Rockets and occupied the historic Capitol Bakery building on the corner of Chapel St & Toorak Rd, South Yarra.
