The Pride Cup is a series of sports matches that are in support of LGBT+ inclusion in sport.

Matches take place throughout the year around Australia. There are many sports involved including rugby, hockey, cricket, wrestling and more.

The Pride Cup events are an opportunity for sports teams to show their support for LGBT+ inclusion and acceptance in sport.

Pride Cup started as an inspiring symbol of mateship at the Yarra Glen Football Netball Club when Jason Ball publicly came out as gay. His teamates wanted to show their support and came up with the idea to stage a Pride Cup with players wearing rainbow jumpers and lines painted in rainbow colours. It has since grown into a national movement that has captured the imagination of sports teams across Australia.
