The Southern Lights are Australia's first LGBT+ ice hockey club.
The Southern Lights are Australia's first LGBT+ ice hockey club.
Founded in 2019, they welcome people of all sexualities and genders including allies of the LGBT+ community. Hockey is played with mix gender teams and team rosters are decided based on hockey skill and ability level. They currently compete in iceHQ's beer league and have a number of teams across varying skill levels.
They welcome new players and encourage you to get on the ice with them.
