This is Melbourne's massive annual comedy festival.
This epic gag fest usually starts in March and runs for a month well into April. With countless acts to choose from, there is no lack of opportunity if you want to get your belly laugh on. There are usually a number of queer comedians to choose from as well.
Their home is the Comedy Theatre in Melbourne's East End Theatre District. However, they use live performance venues throughout the city while the festival is running.
This festival is the largest stand-alone comedy festival in the world and the second largest international comedy festival in the world behind Montreal. In 2019, attendace was over 775,000.
